Metal Primer Is an alkyd based shop primer. It is designed as an interim holding primer and is not intended for use on long term exposed steel. It has been formulated as a budget product for use on steel surfaces in general engineering shops, or for the construction industry. It is a relatively quick dry product which can easily be applied by conventional methods. Can be overcoated with 830- Duralon Gloss, 832- Satin Enamel, or with other Protective anti- corrosive primers 756,990 or 919.
Coverage 14-15m²/L @ 35 microns D.F.T depending on surface texture, porosity and method of application.
Apply with brush, roller or spray.
Recoat in 2-3 hours.
