One pack anti-corrosive primer from modified co-polymer alkyd resin. Steelkote Metal Primer has been formulated to provide a quick drying anti-corrosive finish which is particularly useful in situations where re-coat and handling times are reasonably short. Formulated using the latest anti-corrosive pigments, Steelkote has excellent resistance to outdoor exposure, temperatures up to 150°C or 300°F, and mild acids and alkali’s.
Coverage 10m²/L @ 35 microns D.F.T depending on surface texture, porosity and method of application.
Apply with brush, roller, conventional spray and airless spray.
Recoat minimum: 2-4 hours, maximum: 10-12 days.
