954 Aquaglaze

An acrylic enamel clear formulated to give a hard wearing non-yellowing finish over many substrates. It does not contain UV absorbers so is only suitable for exterior use over UV stable substrates such as painted and masonry surfaces. Is ideal as a protective glaze for murals and posters etc. where it provides a protective finish without altering the colour of the mural. Being water based it is suitable for application to murals where solvent sensitive paints have been used or over solvent sensitive substrates.
On timber 954 Aquaglaze is only suitable for interior use, it will retain the uncoated colour of the timber, so is ideal for finishing pale coloured timbers such as pine, tawa or kahikatea if the pale colour of these timbers is to be retained. 954 Aquaglaze is also ideal for providing a protective glaze to blonded timber surfaces.

Coverage 10-12 m²/L depending on surface texture, porosity and method of application.

Apply with brush, roller or airless spray.

Recoat in 6-8 hours.
